V for Vendetta (2005)
Lately, I’ve coincidently surrounded my myself with stories that are related to totalitarianism such as The Hunger Games, Animal Farm, learning about WWI, some Doctor Who episodes, etc. Watching the film couldn’t have come at a better time. The ideas and actions this movie provokes are amazingly inspiring. Most of it is rather good. Well, the romantic between the masked man and Natalie Portman is a little… unorthodox but not bad. The comic from which it is based on is probably great although I have never read it. I got a lot more out of this film than I initially thought was possible and I’m glad about that. Overall, it was excellent.
